If you are interested in becoming a Freemason, and particularly in joining Andover Combined Services Lodge, the first step is to contact our Lodge Membership Officer at LMOatACSL@gmail.com. Alternatively, you can speak to any member of the Lodge if you already know someone.
Any man aged 18 or over is welcome to apply, regardless of race, religion, occupation or background.
The process usually begins with an informal meeting with the Lodge Membership Officer and a few other members. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, find out more about Freemasonry and decide whether Andover Combined Services Lodge feels right for you. You may also be invited to one of our social events so that you can meet more of the members, and they can get to know you.
If everyone is happy to proceed, you will be invited to a more formal interview and asked to complete an application form. Once your application has been approved, you will be given all the information and support you need before attending your first meeting.
The whole process can take several months and, depending on the time of year and the number of people waiting to join, may occasionally take up to a year. We hope you will agree that it is well worth the wait.
